After putting out three great records on Badman, The Red Thread called it quits in the Summer of 2007. “Actually, we’d like to think of it as a long vacation” says former front man Jason Lakis. However, the discography left behind by this bay area band will continue to be relevant for a long time. Lakis started a new band called Mist and Mast ( myspace.com/mistandmast ) and Dan and Joe are playing in This Isn’t It ( myspace.com/thisisntit ).
